Mineral Rights Company
Safire Solutions worked with a Mineral Rights company in the greater Oklahoma City Area. The company was in the process of transitioning from office-centric work to remote work. The company had developed significant intellectual property and was concerned about protecting this IP, particularly in a decentralized cloud and work from home environment. The company had significant investments in SalesForce, Microsoft 365, and Azure. We worked with the company to first set up an enterprise network solution in the owner's home- Ubiquiti Networks was chosen for the integrated Firewall, intrusion detection, and Intrusion Prevention System. We then enabled single sign-on to Microsoft Entra for all business applications and enabled multifactor and passwordless authentication. We leverage Microsfot Entra and Intune to create access control and risk-based access policies to secure network and data access. We created Azure Virtual Desktops for all employees and contractors to utilize in order to maintain control over company assets and data. We configured all physical and virtual machines to run Microsoft Defender and Crowdstrike Falcon. We further leveraged Crowdstrike Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) to ingest security logs from the different systems in use to correlate security information. Finally, we signed a multi-year agreement to actively manage this organization's cyber security.
