Building the Technology Backbone of Oklahoma City’s Next Great Hotel

We’re proud to announce our most significant engagement in the history of Safire Business Services: a comprehensive technology partnership with a boutique hotel developer set to open a stunning new property in downtown Oklahoma City this October. From the guest room door to the back-office server rack, Safire will design, install, configure, and manage every technology system in the building.

This isn’t just a project — it’s the first chapter of a multi-year, multi-property relationship. The developer is actively acquiring and renovating properties throughout downtown OKC, and Safire will serve as the technology partner of record across all of them.

“When a guest walks into this hotel, every wireless connection, every TV channel, every secure door, every note playing through the speakers, and every support call will be backed by Safire. We’re not a vendor here — we’re an embedded part of the operation.”

A Complete Technology Stack, Top to Bottom

Modern hospitality guests expect seamless, invisible technology — fast Wi-Fi that just works, TVs that behave like home, doors that open without friction, the right music playing in every space, and staff who can resolve any issue in minutes. Delivering that experience requires every system to be purpose-built and expertly integrated. Here’s what Safire is deploying:

System Details
Ruckus Wireless Network 120+ enterprise access points + 14 managed switches for property-wide, high-density Wi-Fi coverage
Fortinet Security Perimeter Redundant next-generation firewalls providing enterprise-grade threat protection and network segmentation
Samsung TVs + DirecTV 120+ in-room Samsung displays with full DirecTV hospitality entertainment services configured for every room
Ving Card Access Control 120+ electronic door locks providing keycard and mobile access across all guest rooms and secure areas
Hanwha Security System 72+ IP cameras with NVR infrastructure and AI-powered detection for comprehensive physical security coverage
MEWS PMS + POS 14 point-of-sale terminals fully integrated with the MEWS Property Management System for unified operations
Cloud VoIP + Room Phones 80+ in-room and back-office handsets on a fully cloud-hosted VoIP platform with enterprise call management
Multi-Zone Audio Distribution New Centrally managed audio system delivering independent, curated sound experiences across every zone of the property — lobby, restaurant, fitness center, corridors, event spaces, outdoor areas, and more
Full Managed Services Ongoing monitoring, support, and management for every technology component across the entire property under a single SLA

One Partner, Every System, Zero Finger-Pointing

Most hotels cobble together technology from a dozen unrelated vendors, leaving operations teams to manage a maze of contracts, support lines, and systems that were never designed to work together. Billing disputes, slow response times, and the dreaded “that’s not our problem” runaround are the norm.

Safire’s model is different. By owning the full technology stack — from the firewall that protects the network to the speakers in the lobby ceiling — we become a single point of accountability. One call, one SLA, one team that knows your property from the inside out. When something needs attention at 2 a.m., there’s no ambiguity about who picks up.

This integrated approach also means our systems are designed to work together from day one. Network infrastructure is sized for the surveillance and access control loads. POS terminals are provisioned on an isolated VLAN. VoIP traffic is QoS-prioritized at the firewall level. Audio distribution runs on the same managed network fabric as everything else. These aren’t afterthoughts — they’re engineering decisions that only happen when one team owns everything.

The Bigger Picture: A Downtown OKC Technology Partnership

This engagement is the foundation of a multi-year contract covering up to 21 properties across downtown Oklahoma City over the next five years. As the developer continues acquiring and renovating landmark buildings in the heart of OKC, Safire will bring the same integrated technology model to each one — creating a standardized, scalable platform that improves with every deployment.

Raising the Bar for Hospitality Technology in Oklahoma

Oklahoma City is in the middle of a remarkable downtown renaissance — new restaurants, new venues, new energy, and now new hotels built to attract a more discerning traveler. The properties in this portfolio are being designed to compete at a national level, and the technology has to match.

For Safire, this partnership represents the culmination of everything we’ve built: the enterprise architecture experience, the managed services infrastructure, and the belief that Oklahoma businesses deserve technology partners who think at the same level as the best firms in the country. We’re ready for October, and we’re ready for what comes after.

We’ll be sharing more about this deployment — the challenges, the solutions, and the results — as we get closer to opening day. Stay tuned.
